We had a wonderful tour with Akane during the Shimizu/Shizuoka port stop of our Holland America cruise. Akane tailored the pace, locations visited, meeting time, and descriptive narrative to our specific group's interest. Our group included 3 seniors (including two over 80), and one special needs adult. She was knowledgeable, congenial, patient and kind. As a Shimizu local she shared both the history and her love of her home town all in excellent English. We visited both the Sumpu Castle Park, Shizuoka City Center, and the beautiful Sengen Shrine. With easy public transit near the Shimizu port you shouldn't hesitate to book this great tour!
